TEDx University of Winnipeg
Creation of a visual identity for the TEDx event at the University of Winnipeg (Volunteering project)
Project Summary
My Role
As the sole designer on the team, I spearheaded the ideation and creation of the visual identity for the TEDx event at the University of Winnipeg.
The project encompassed crafting a visual identity that captured the complexity of the event's main topic - Cognitive Dissonance. Deliverables included marketing and promotional materials such as pins, bookmarks, program booklets, posters, as well as digital assets for the website user interface.
Deliverables
Working within the TEDx branding guidelines, applicable to every event under the brand name, I researched the agenda and main topic - Cognitive Dissonance. Subsequently, I created all visual identity deliverables inspired by these insights.
It was the first TEDx event at the university, and organizing it proved to be quite a journey, culminating in success. In the process of working and creating assets, I invested effort into crafting documentation and developing reusable templates for future events. This knowledge was shared with the students' committee for continuity and ease of future event organization.
